Debit Card Breach at Target Stores

Target Stores has announced unauthorized access to payment card data. The unauthorized access may impact Target guests who made credit or debit card purchases in their U.S. stores from Nov. 27 to Dec. 15, 2013.
 
Peoples Bank has fraud monitoring place to maintain the security of your card.  As we receive more information from VISA regarding impacted cards, we will reach out to affected cardholders. If we become aware that your card one of the compromised cards we will contact you regarding the replacement of your current card.
 
IMPORTANT STEPS YOU CAN TAKE
 
  1. Monitor your accounts for unauthorized transactions.
  2. Immediately report unauthorized transactions that appear on your account.
  3. If you card is unexpectedly declined, contact the Bank.
