Peoples Bank Announces Retirement of Marge Milnor, Business Development Officer at Anacortes Office

Decade-long tenure at Peoples Bank included Branch Manager roles at Sedro Woolley, Burlington, and Anacortes Offices.
 
Anacortes, WA – June 14, 2017 – Peoples Bank today announced the retirement of Marge Milnor, Business Development Officer at the Anacortes Office, effective June 30, 2017. A retirement reception will be held at the Peoples Bank Anacortes Office on Friday, June 23 from 5:00 – 7:00pm. Peoples Bank customers and the Anacortes community are welcome to attend to wish Marge well in her retirement.
 
“Marge was highly regarded for helping her clients achieve their financial goals, and she leveraged her strong community connections to successfully help us grow our market share in Anacortes and the surrounding area,” said Mark Swanson, Vice President and Regional Banking Manager at Peoples Bank. “Marge also generously lent her time and talents to supporting numerous community organizations in the area. We are grateful for her leadership and dedicated service to Peoples Bank and the community.”

Marge worked in the local banking industry for more than 30 years. During her ten-year tenure with Peoples Bank, Marge was also a Branch Manager at three Skagit County locations including Sedro Woolley, Burlington, and Anacortes. Marge graduated from La Conner High School and earned an Associate of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Skagit Valley College. She is a graduate of Leadership Skagit and holds numerous certificates from The Institution of Financial Education. Prior to joining Peoples Bank, Marge worked at Rainier, InterWest and Whidbey Island Banks.
 
Marge is also deeply involved in the local community. She has been a member of La Conner Rotary Club for over 22 years and served as President, Treasurer and Secretary. In addition, Marge serves on the board of the Anacortes Family Center, is a Trustee for Hospice of the Northwest, and volunteers with the Anacortes Marine Trades. Over the years, Marge has supported The Skagit Valley Tulip Festival, Skagit Symphony, Skagit Valley Business Program, United Way, and Junior Achievement.
