Peoples Bank announces promotions in Chelan-Douglas commercial banking group

Audrey Bessonette - Commercial Banking Officer
Peoples Bank, Wenatchee, Wash., announced the promotion of Audrey Bessonette to commercial banking team leader of the Chelan-Douglas commercial banking group, and the promotion of Karma Vassar who will serve in Bessonette’s former position as senior vice president, commercial banking officer. Both women are based at the Wenatchee Financial Center.
Bessonette began her career with Peoples Bank in November 2004 and has taken on increased responsibility within the team during her tenure. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Central Washington University, Ellensburg, where she studied business administration. In 2013, she graduated from the Pacific Coast Banking School, Bellevue, Wash., the premier national graduate school of banking.
“Audrey has been instrumental in driving steady growth for Peoples Bank in the Chelan-Douglas market,” said Christopher Neros, executive vice president and chief commercial banking officer. “Her strong production capabilities, combined with her dedication to providing exemplary customer service and helping customers reach their business and financial goals, led to this well-earned promotion.”
Karma Vassar - Commercial Banking Officer
Vassar has been a commercial banker in the Wenatchee market for the past 16 years and joined Peoples Bank in September 2013. A lifetime resident of Washington, she was raised in Wenatchee and graduated from Wenatchee High School before obtaining a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Washington, Seattle.
