Carla Lee has been appointed Senior Real Estate Loan Officer at the Peoples Bank Mount Vernon Home Loan Center. Carla has 30 years of experience in mortgage banking, serving first time home buyers, as well as assisting more experienced customers with mortgage products that serve a variety of purposes, from custom construction to refinance transactions.

“I strive to individualize the mortgage process for each of my clients. I want them to know they are heard and understood, and will be kept informed every step of the way,” says Carla. “There is nothing that touches my heart more in my career than helping to create homeownership for people who didn’t think they would ever be able to own a home.”

Carla serves on the board of the Kulshan Community Land Trust and the Building Industry Association of Whatcom County (BIAWC). She was also a member of the government affairs committee for the Whatcom Association of Realtors, and a certified instructor for the Washington State Housing Finance Committee (WSHFC) and Washington Department of Licensing providing continuing education for real estate agents.
