Important Business Online Banking Wire Transfer Changes Required Before November 16, 2026
Action is required to ensure your wire transfers continue to be processed without interruption.
Beginning November 16, 2026, all wire transfers must comply with new international payment messaging standards (ISO 20022). These changes improve payment accuracy, fraud prevention, and processing efficiency. Legacy systems will no longer function after this date.
What You Need To Do
If your business sends domestic or international wire transfers through Business Online Banking:
- Review all saved wire templates.
- Update beneficiary and recipient addresses so information is entered in separate fields.
- Test updated wire templates before November 16, 2026.
- Update any uploaded wire files if your organization uses file transmission. Please contact us for additional information regarding accepted file upload formats.
Failure to update templates could result in payment delays or rejected wire transfers after November 16, 2026.
