What's the difference between Checking Extras and Peoples Perks?
Peoples Perks is a bundle of value-added benefits and is included at no extra cost with Personal Relationship Checking. It offers more money saving value to Peoples Bank customers. If you previously paid for Checking Extras, those benefits expire on June 1, 2016. Compare the new benefits below.

How will I receive my activation code?
You will receive an activation code when you sign up for your new account. If you previously had Checking Extras, or were converted from a prior checking account to a Personal Relationship Checking account, use the activation code Peoples through July 29. If you forget your code or have difficulty activating your Peoples Perks account, call (800) 584-8859 or visit a local branch.

How do I access my Peoples Perks account?
Click on and enter your login and password provided to you when your account was activated.

Are all benefits and discounts active once I become a Peoples Perks member?
You are eligible for the benefits and discounts once your checking account is effective at the bank. Eligibility for Cell Phone Protection begins the first day of the calendar month after the cell phone bill for the eligible account holder is paid from your Personal Relationship Checking account with Peoples Perks. Cell phone protection and personal identity protection are subject to additional terms and conditions outlined on after logging in. Participating merchants on Peoples Perks (Powered by BaZing) are subject to change without notice, may not be available in all regions and may choose to limit deals.

What do I do to receive the discounts?
You may have to present actual printed coupons, the Peoples Perks mobile app or the Health Savings Card depending upon the discount type. Instructions on how to access discounts can be found with each offer.

How do I access Peoples Perks if I don’t have a computer?
  • Peoples Perks are designed to appeal to a wide variety of customers. Because of this mass appeal approach, some benefits are accessed “online” only, while other benefits are automatic (without any “online” interaction).
  • Benefits automatically received include Health Savings, Roadside Assistance, Travel Accidental Death Insurance, Cell Phone Protection, Personal Identity Protection, Payment Card Protection and Identity Theft Aid.
  • Benefits accessed online include Shopping Discounts, Grocery Coupons, Dining Discounts and Travel Discounts.

Does everyone receive the weekly emails?
Peoples Perks members will receive emails from Peoples Perks periodically with featured deals. Members may opt out of these emails from the My Account page on or by clicking on the opt-out link in the email footer. Peoples Perks does not share customer email addresses with any other source.

If I have a question about Peoples Perks, who can I call?
You can call the Bazing Customer Service line toll free at (855) 822-9464.

When I call will I talk to a person?
All Peoples Perks calls will be answered live between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM CST. After hours there is an automated attendant with prompts. Just listen to the message and push the appropriate number or leave a message. All messages are returned the next business day.

If I call during regular business hours will I always get a person live on the first ring or two?
Ninety-four percent of the time you will talk to a Bazing Customer Service agent. If they are all busy you will get a message to leave a message. An agent will call you back once they are available. It is usually within minutes.

Can I email Peoples Perks Customer Service?
Yes! Any member can send an email request to Emails will be answered the same business day that they are received.

If I have questions about Peoples Perks where can I go to learn more and find the answers?
Go to the website and log in. All Customer Service information, product knowledge, the Peoples Perks guarantee and other related information is found there. Just follow the prompts and the navigation at the top or the ‘Category’ paths.

My password does not work.
If you activated your membership with a valid email address, click on “Forgot Password”, enter the email address used for activation and a new temporary password will be emailed to you. If you did not register with a valid email address you may email Peoples Perks Customer Service under “Contact Us” or you can call BaZing Customer Service at (855) 822-9464 for your password to be reset.

Can I use the Peoples Perks website on my phone?
We have an app for that! Just go to the Apple Store or Google Play to download the free app. Use your Peoples Perks login information to get started.

What do I do if I don’t receive an email or text message with my temporary password to login for the first time?
Go to and click on “Forgot Password”, enter the email address used for activation and a new temporary password will be emailed to you. Or email BaZing Customer Service under “Contact Us” or call Bazing Customer Service at Service at (855) 822-9464 for your password to be reset.

If I am enrolled online will my email address be sold to any other companies?
No. We do not share your email address or contact information with other companies.

Is the information that I put on-line secure?
Yes. If you look at the web address you will see HTTPS at the top and that is a verified secure site.

How do I change my password?
Log in at and click on ‘My Account’ in the top navigation pane. There you can update your profile information on your account.

I tried to use my coupon and it didn’t work. What do I do?
We guarantee the coupons to work. All of the merchants on Peoples Perks have agreed to provide the discounts. However, sometimes a merchant may forget they participate or something may go wrong. When we find out we fix it. Check out the Peoples Perks Guarantee under 'My Account' in the 'My Benefits' tab after you log in to Peoples Perks to receive the discount you are eligible for.

Are all the discounts on the Peoples Perks website also on the mobile app?
No, just portions of them are. But that is always expanding. Be sure to routinely check the website in addition to using your app.

What if I showed a mobile coupon and they did not accept it?
We will honor the discount and notify the merchant. If you use the mobile coupon and it didn’t work, choose the option “It didn’t work” to immediately let Peoples Perks Customer Service know. This begins the process of getting your refund. Check out the Peoples Perks Guarantee by logging into

Can I get a list of which merchants are on the site or the mobile app?
No. Just look on the site and the app. They are always changing and being updated.

Who chose the places that provide the discounts?
We call on the merchants to sign up for Peoples Perks. We can sign up anyone that meets our requirements. Not everyone we contact wants to join, but many do. When you look on the Peoples Perks website or mobile app there is an icon called, “Refer-A-Merchant” where you can recommend a local merchant.

The message on the computer says that I should install a program on my computer to print grocery coupons. Should I do that or is it a virus?
It is not a virus. It is a printer command so that your printer can print a bar code when you print the grocery coupons. 

The online shopping discount did not work.
If you followed the instructions to get the discount and it still didn’t work we’ll get this taken care of for you through the Peoples Perks Guarantee.
What discount can I get on the prescriptions that I use?
Go to the Health category at When you are in the Health category there is a Pharmacy Savings button. When you click on that you will see a great tool we call the Prescription Cost Estimator. Type your prescription in and then you will see the cost and the potential savings.
What happened to a certain discount that was there last week?

The discounts change all the time. Keep coming back and you will see more! Chances are that the one you are looking for will be back, or one that is similar may take its place.
Can online discounts be used in store too?

It will tell you in the discount description on the page. Some do, many do not because it is an online discount.
Can I get a prescription discount with the Peoples Perks Pharmacy Card on my insurance co-pay?

No. They are mutually exclusive. It is one or the other. Ask the pharmacist to use the one that gives the biggest discount.
