Actively manage when, where, and how your Peoples Bank debit card is used, right from your smartphone! Turn your card off if it's lost, control spending by setting transaction limits, prevent fraud by establishing geographic boundaries, and more, with Card Controls.
How to use Card Controls
- Log in to your Peoples Mobile Banking app and choose the 'More' option from the taskbar.
- Select the 'Card Controls' option from the menu.
- Choose which cards you'd like to enable Card Controls.
- Once your card is enabled, choose which controls you'd like to customize:
- If at any time you'd like to remove these controls, you can switch the toggle 'Off' to disable.
Control Types
In the unfortunate event that your card is lost or stolen, you can turn your card off immediately using the Card Controls feature in your mobile banking app. If it turns out to be a false alarm, you can instantly turn the card back on and resume normal use.
Through Location Controls you can establish regions where your card can be used. When enabled, any card activity from outside of your established regions will be denied. Location Controls also allows you to block any international transactions.
Protect yourself from potential card fraud by enabling and disabling specific transaction types. If you know you don't use your card for online purchases, simply turn them off! You can instantly enable it again in the future as your needs change.
Control the types of merchant categories where your card can be used, such as groceries, travel, gas station, or entertainment.
