Kari has two decades of experience in the financial services industry, having spent 18 of those years in Skagit County, where she was born and raised. She currently serves as the Real Estate Loan Center Assistant Manager in Skagit and island counties out of her office at Peoples Bank
Mount Vernon Financial Center.
Kari volunteers her time with Burlington-Edison Kiwanis, North Puget Sound Association of Relators, Whidbey Island Association of Realtors, and local community activities with the Chamber of Commerce. She has also held roles with Home Trust of Skagit, Relay For Life of Skagit County, the Skagit Asset Building Coalition, and the Skagit Women's Alliance and Network (SWAN).
Kari earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in finance. She also graduated from the Pacific Coast Banking School, the premier national graduate school of banking, and holds an Executive Leadership Certificate from the University of Washington Foster School of Business. She enjoys reading mystery and suspense novels and spending time with family.
