Peoples Bank Announces Opening of 2026 Impact Grant Applications

Peoples Bank is proud to announce that its annual Impact Grant program is now accepting applictions. This initiative awards $25,000 to a nonprofit organization for a specific project or purpose that creates meaningful and lasting change in the community. Returning this year is an additional grant of up to $10,000, which will be awarded to a separate nonprofit through a public vote.

At Peoples Bank, a commitment to “A Higher Level of Service” extends beyond banking. Through the Impact Grant program, the Bank continues its longstanding tradition of investing in the people, organizations, and communities it serves throughout Washington.

“Supporting organizations that are creating positive change in our communities is at the heart of who we are,” said Lisa Hefter, President and Chief Operating Officer of Peoples Bank. “Every year, the Impact Grant program introduces us to remarkable nonprofits addressing important needs with creativity, compassion, and purpose. We are honored to help further their missions and celebrate the difference they make in the lives of others.”

Applications will be accepted through August 31, 2026, with the recipient being announced in September. The application process is intentionally designed to be straightforward and accessible, allowing nonprofits of all sizes to apply. Preference will be given to organizations located within communities served by Peoples Bank and those making a positive impact in low-to-moderate income neighborhoods.
