Peoples Bank is pleased to announce the opening of a new branch serving the Smokey Point community, located at 4824 Longhouse Trail Lane NE Suite 102 in Arlington. The branch will feature commercial lending and retail banking services and is dedicated to serving customers in the North Snohomish communities of Arlington, Marysville, and Stanwood.

Peoples Bank began serving the banking needs of customers in Snohomish County in 2005. With the opening of the Smokey Point branch, Peoples Bank now operates five branch locations across Snohomish County, including in Edmonds, Everett, Mill Creek, and the City of Snohomish. The new Smokey Point branch will offer commercial lending and retail banking services with a personalized and relationship-based approach.

A team of talented and community-focused banking professionals will lead this new branch, including:
- Josh Anfinson, Senior Vice President, Commercial Market Leader. With over 25 years of financial services experience specializing in commercial and industrial (C&I) and commercial real estate (CRE) lending, Josh brings a wealth of expertise to this role. Originally from Auckland, New Zealand, and raised in Melbourne, Australia, Josh has lived in Snohomish and Skagit counties since 2013. He has previously served as President of the Rotary Club of Burlington and currently volunteers with Financial Beginnings.
- Melissa Siv, Vice President, District Manager. Melissa has served in numerous retail banking roles and has contributed significantly to Peoples Bank’s success in Snohomish County during her nearly 20-year tenure at the Bank. Active in the community, Melissa serves on the Executive Committee for Leadership Snohomish County, is a Junior Achievement facilitator, serves on the Everett Public Schools Business and Professional Services Program Advisory Committee, and sits on the Events and Finance Committee for the Imagine Children’s Museum.
- Mitch Stewart, Assistant Vice President, Retail Branch Manager. Mitch joined Peoples Bank in 2015 and has earned numerous accolades for outstanding customer service in his roles as retail operations manager, relationship manager, and assistant branch manager of the Everett Financial Center. Raised in Snohomish County, Mitch serves as Board Treasurer for Quilceda Community Services and is on the Arlington Public Schools Career and Technical Education Advisory Board.
